Lumi Capital acquired the logistics complex of Plienciema Centrs near Riga airport together with Estonian private investors. The area is highly valued by logistics companies, located near the largest airport in the Baltics and is easily accessible by the labour force of Riga.

„This is Lumi Capital’s second investment in Latvia. We are actively looking for new investments in different real estate sectors in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania” said Lumi Capital managing partner Raiko Uri.

The surrounding area is rapidly developing and several logistics companies, shopping centers (including Spice, Maxima XXX, Depo) and residential areas are located in the area.

The complex is rented out to two international logistics companies - Inter Cars Group which is largest automotive spare parts importer and distributor in Central and Eastern Europe and Deutsche Post DHL Group one of the leading global logistics providers. The logistics complex was built in 2006 according to international standards.

The logistics complex will include an additional 6,285 m2 of leasable area development that will be completed in the summer of 2020.

This is Lumi Capital's second investment in Latvia. Lumi Capital's legal advisor was Primus Derling.
